(English) The Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard announced that the Covax mechanism will supply of vaccines to Mexico, in the months of February and March.

The Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard announced that the Covax mechanism will supply of vaccines to Mexico, in the months of February and March. He also announced that the Russian government had provided all the necessary documents to the Mexican government, to verify the effectiveness of the Sputnik vaccine.
He also described the government’s strategies in the supply of vaccines with the AstraZeneca and Cancino laboratories, and with the Russian government regarding Sputnik.
Mexico has made a pre-purchase agreement with AstraZeneca for 74 million doses, which will be delivered in the last week of March. There are procedures that must be followed to prepare the vaccine, which Cofepris has to respect – which is a level four agency, that is, high level – at least 250 million vaccines will be finished, manufactured and later distributed from Mexico to Latin America.».
The President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, is evolving well, he is practically asymptomatic and anxious, said the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell.
On the other hand, for the week of February 1st to February 7th, Mexico City and the state of Mexico will remain on red light of the epidemiological light. The government informed that the shopping malls will be closed for 1 more week and as tentative date, they can open on February 8th.
All commercial activity is allowed if is provided outside the shop and they can only be opened until 5:00 p.m. In the state of Mexico, shopping malls will be allowed to open with restricted capacity and schedule.
According with the epidemiological traffic light in the Mexican Republic, we have 14 states in red color, 18 states in orange, 2 states in yellow, and 1 state in green traffic light.
Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Puebla, Guerrero Nayarit and San Luis Potosí, are the states on a red light.
In orange color we have the below states such as: Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Baja California, Colima, Durango, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán, and Zacatecas.
The states in yellow light are Chiapas and Chihuahua.
And Campeche in green.
