The government has announced the requirements to enter the country as tourists.  They must fill the epidemiological application online denominated Health pass that was issued by the ministry of health. The tourists have to hire a travel insurance that covers at least lodging and medical expenses generated by COVID 19, offered by any of the insurance companies authorized by the General superintendence of insurances of Costa Rica and provide the PCR test result 72 hours before traveling.

On the other hand, Costa Rica will open the border to all countries on November 1^st.
