Eduardo Clark, general director of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP), reported that Mexico City will continue with an orange traffic light due to Covid-19, from April 26th to May 2nd. On the other hand, however, State of Mexico will be on a yellow traffic light.
The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum announced that the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine is expected to be applied to older adults in Tlalpan, Iztapalapa and Gustavo A. Madero municipalities from April 26th to May 2nd. She indicated that they are only waiting for the arrival of more doses of Sputnik V vaccines, since Mexico City needs 400 thousand to cover the three municipalities and only a half of it was received.
According with the epidemiological traffic light in the Mexican Republic, we have 4 states in orange, 20 states in yellow, and 8 in green traffic light.
- Orange light: Chihuahua, Mexico City, Yucatán, and Baja California.
- Yellow light: Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Estate of Mexico Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Guerrero, Michoacán, Tabasco, Guanajuato, Colima, Zacatecas, Durango, Sinaloa, Sonora, Aguascalientes, Puebla, Jalisco, Baja California Sur, Morelos and San Luis Potosí.
- Green light: Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Campeche (3).
