Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced that the epidemiological traffic light continues in orange with an alert.

She informed that due to the increase in hospital occupancy, there will be new measures for some establishments such as restaurants, gyms, and casinos. The new schedule for these establishments will be until 10:00 p.m.

In terms of social events, mainly done in hotels, she stated that for closed spaces must be a cap of 10 people and 25 people in open spaces.

For “El Buen Fin” or Good Weekend, that will take place from November 9th to 22nd in Mexico City, establishments must have a capacity of 30%, besides the sanitary measures.

On the other hand, there are three states that went returned to the orange color,( Sinaloa, Sonora and Guanajuato).

Chihuahua and Durango are the two entities that are on a red light due to the increase in cases of Covid-19, reported José Luis Alomía during the conference on the state of the country regarding the coronavirus.

For that reason, in orange color will be 21 states such as: Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Colima, Durango, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Yucatán, Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Sonora and Guanajuato.

In addition, the states in yellow light will be: Chiapas, Morelos, Oaxaca, Puebla, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Veracruz.

And only Campeche will remain in green.
