September 15th and 16th are dates when Mexican people gather to celebrate the anniversary of the beginning of their independence war, which has happened more than 2 centuries ago. Mexico’s Independence Day is the ideal moment to enjoy traditional food, regional music and an amazing display of colorful ornaments in every corner of the country. 1. Garibaldi Square

 
This place, located near from Mexico City’s downtown, is well-known as the place of mariachi par excellence. 3. Los Virreyes restaurant
