Traveling the corners of the Magical Towns

Mexico is a country full of magic and cultural richness, that attraction is not only in its main cities, but in the small details such as: beautiful landscapes, full of color for their crafts, their cobbled streets, the smell of their food, among others; that you can find in the 121 Magic Towns that you must cross throughout the republic.
If you are one of those who like to look at the horizon of a mountain, spend hours in a hammock listening to the sound of the sea, walk through the cobbled streets or lose yourself in the traditional markets, the following magical towns will surprise you.
Tulum, Quintana Roo.
Located in front of the Caribbean Sea, Tulum the archaeological zone unique in the world due to its dream architecture. Along the route you will find several recreational parks to be in contact with nature, in addition to 50 km approx. from Tulum you will find the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, where you have the opportunity to navigate between mangroves, swim in cenotes and know the archaeological zone of the place. If you still have energy, at night you can enjoy the nightlife in bars and clubs that this town has for you.
Real de Catorce, San Luis Potosí
The state of San Luis Potosí is famous for its traditional and ancient buildings, and Real de Catorce is a mystical town that is worth noting, since it goes hand in hand with the culture of the Huichol.
The magic in Real de Catorce begins when entering through the only access that corresponds to the Ogarrio tunnel, which was inaugurated in 1900, before this date it was almost impossible to access.
Very close to the site is Wirikuta, a sacred site for the Huichol people with an area of 140,000 hectares, in this desert sprouts peyote in abundance.
Currently you can find shops, restaurants and public places to take a break as the Garden Hidalgo, heart of the town; where you will also find crafts full of striking colors, made by indigenous Huichol.
Tequila, Jalisco
Also known as the land of blue gold, Tequila is the ideal place to buy this drink in its various presentations: aged, rested, white among others. You will also find crafts such as barrels and wooden jars to talk about this drink.
In the land of the agave, you can also visit the Hacienda and distillery “José Cuervo La Rojeña”, the first to obtain permission to manufacture the “mezcal wine” more than 200 years ago.
And since not everything in life is tequila, you can also practice extreme sports, visit the Blue Waterfalls or the archaeological site of Teuchitan
Tecate, Baja California
On the border of Mexico with the United States is Tecate, a place surrounded by mountains and stone cliffs, you can find handicrafts of all kinds and enjoy the Miguel Hidalgo Park in which we recommend you to enjoy its exquisite bakery.
But the biggest attraction without a doubt, is the Tecate Brewery, where you will enjoy the process of brewing and then enjoy one beer on the terrace. You will love the experience!
Chignahuapan, Puebla
The colorful Christmas decorations and religious architecture will make you fall in love with the place.
Located north of Puebla, Chignahuapan is one of the places on the planet where every day is Christmas, because each year there are about 70 million Christmas decorations that are distributed throughout the Mexican Republic.
The site has a lagoon where you can fish, swim and take a boat tour. In November the Festival of Light and Life is celebrated and at night it is illuminated with torches.
El Rosario, Sinaloa
Lola Beltrán has a museum where her remains are kept, but that’s not all. El Rosario, Sinaloa also has the Iguanero Lagoon, full of turtles and fish which is accessed through a suspension bridge that you will fall in love with once you cross it.
The monumental church of La Señora del Rosario, will be one of the most impressive things you will find in this tour, it is a unique experience.
In addition to the religious center, in the Rosario there is an old Spanish cemetery, which has become a tourist attraction for its ancient mausoleums of the eighteenth century.
