The Head of Government in Mexico,reported that Mexico City will continue with an orange traffic light with an alert, from November 23th to  the 29th, because of the continuing trend in hospitalizations due to Covid-19.

She highlighted that from November 12th to 19th, hospital occupancy increased from 42% to 49%, and in the last seven days, the daily admission increased to 200 new patients each day. “If this trend continues at the end of December we would have the same occupation hospital that we have had on May. We are five weeks away from correcting this trend to avoid hospital saturation, “she warned.

The Head of Government reported that today the 26 macro kiosks for rapid coronavirus tests began to operate, with which they will seek to double the number of tests and thus reduce the spread of the virus in the capital. She indicated so far, the number of four positive cases that have been detected, according to the Ministry of Health.

Also, she reported non-essential business must close at 7:00 p.m. starting Monday, to reduce infections.

According with the epidemiological traffic light, there aren´t changes in the colors like the past week, for that reason we still having 1 state in green, 11 states in yellow traffic light, 17 states in orange color and just 2 states in red color.

Chihuahua and Durango are the two entities that will remain on a red light due to the increase in cases of Covid-19.

In orange color we have the below states such as: Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Colima, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Yucatán, Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Sonora, Coahuila and Guanajuato.

In addition, the states in yellow light will be: Chiapas, Morelos, Michoacán, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Veracruz.

And only Campeche will remain in green.
