The president of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado, announced that the complete vaccination scheme and its respective certificate will be mandatory to attend leisure activities and enter shops as of December 1^st,2021.

This measure is because unvaccinated people put others at risk, also this act will allow a reactivation of the economy and a generation of employment.

On the other hand, the government announced some changes in sanitary measures due to the crisis that the country is living due to the COVID 19, in case of hotels, new capacity has been established because of the high season.

In November, hotels that have more than 100 rooms can operate at 100% of their capacity and the common areas at a 50% of capacity.
