Colombia continues with the economic reactivation that started on September 2020 under the selective isolation model.
However, one of the sectors that has been more affected due to the COVID 19 pandemic is tourism, because of that, the national Government has taken some economic measures to support their reactivation: suspend the over tax to the energy service, exception of tax to the hospitality services, and tax reduction to airline tickets from 19 to 5% until December 31st 2021.
Another strategy to promote purchases on the tourism sector was the one called “Gran finde” in which people could obtain discounts on vacation packages for december. More than 2500 establishments offered their services with big sales results.
Some movie theaters will open on November 26th with all the biosecurity protocols, tickets must be purchased on line, time between movies will be longer to avoid crowds and the capacity will be reduced blocking some seats to keep a 2 meters distance with other people.
